Frisby On The Wreake is a small charming village and parish west of Melton Mowbray. It very much adopts the feeling of traditional village life with friendly locals, plenty of walks available across the surrounding fields and open countryside, a local pub serving excellent food and a great atmosphere, there is a small local shop and post office that sells fresh bread and local produce, Frisby Pre-school and Frisby Primary school, a Parish and Methodist church and the village hall which hosts many events such as the local wine club, flower arranging, band and quiz nights. Situated just off the A607 and 6 miles from the A46 the village has good road links to Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Loughborough and Nottingham. The village has a local bus service in to Melton and just outside the village a regular service to Leicester and Melton.
